This is a focused, one-year program designed to equip and prepare leaders for the vibrant worship life of today’s church. Our central purpose of this course is to form leaders who combine a solid Biblical foundation with practical musical ability. - Aspire to serve as Worship Leaders, Music Ministers, or Church Music Educators.

- Biblical & Theological Depth: You’ll develop a solid biblical foundation for worship and learn to plan services that are theologically rich. This includes training in preaching to meet the demands of ministry.
- Comprehensive Music Training: Receive practical instruction in music theory, sight-reading, keyboard, guitar, and voice.
- Contextual Engagement: We go beyond traditional training to include engagement with indigenous and contextual forms of music as well as Indian classical music.
- Modern Skills: Get an introduction to digital music software for electronic notation, recording, and presentation, as well as methods for leading a worship band.
- Mentorship: You will receive valuable mentorship in worship leadership and service design.
- Global Recognition: We offer opportunities to appear for grade examinations with the Associate Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM, London).

Biblical, Theological & Ministerial Courses
- Life and worship of the people of God in Old Testament
- Life and Worship of the people of God in New Testament
- History of Church music
- Theology of worship
Musical Courses
- Music Theory 1, 2, & 3 (with basic composition)
- Applied Studies (Major & Minor instrument/voice)
- Musicianship (Ear Training & Sight Reading)
- Indian classical music
- Electronic Notation, Recording & Worship media
- Conducting and worship band methods
Where This Program Can Lead You
Upon successfully completing the PGDWM, you will be able to:
- Appreciate the history and development of Christian worship and church music.
- Be fully prepared to serve in congregations as a Worship Leader, Music Minister, or Church Music Educator.
- Be eligible to pursue an MA or MDiv in Worship and Music at a higher academic level.
- ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- As this is a post-graduate diploma, applicants are expected to have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Applicants who have not completed their Bachelor’s degree but have significant ministry experience may also apply.
- Period of Study
The Post Graduate Diploma spans a period of one academic year.
- CREDITS
Upon successfully fulfilling the program requirements of 30 credits.
- Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the program, students must finish all required courses and practical components outlined in the one-year, three-trimester curriculum. This includes active participation in musical training, applied studies, and mentorship.
