SAIACS ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

SAIACS Admissions: How to Apply
Applying for admission to SAIACS is a four step process.
1. To pursue studies at SAIACS, a completed Admissions Application Form (which will be available to download later this year), supporting documents and a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 150 (for South Asian students) should be sent by registered post or courier by the stipulated date in November. (Note that that this Application Fee is separate from the payment for Admissions Form and Prospectus, which can be requested from SAIACS for Rs. 100).
2. In the eventuality that you are considered, you will receive the SAIACS Prospectus and will be invited to SAIACS for an interview. Invitation to the Admission Week is normally intimated to the applicant by December or maximum by January. The Admission Week entrance exams and the interview is scheduled in the third week of February. Please note that the Admissions Committee will not consider calling an applicant for entrance exams and interview until items 1-9 in the Application Form have been received at the Admissions Office.
3. Applicants are required to come to SAIACS at the designated date for entrance exams and an interview. If needed, applicants can request for compensation for one-way 2nd class travel for over 1000 kms, from the Admissions Office. This compensation is offered on a need-basis. (This is not applicable for those who apply for the Doctoral programmes.)
4. If, after the interview and examination process, you are accepted, SAIACS will invite you to confirm your admission by paying the initial down-payment of 25% of your stated fees by April.
